Dancer Certification
The NCWDA Dancer Certification Program is comprised of five levels based on competence and experience. Once dancers become certified, they are eligible to certify new candidates as well as current NCWDA members who are one or more levels below them in the certification process.
A Certification Fee of $15.00 is assessed for each Certification Review. The member requesting certification pays this fee directly to the Certified Member who is conducting the Certification Review, as compensation for time & travel. When the certification candidate meets or exceeds the minimum requirements for the requested dance level, the candidate pays annual membership dues of $25.00 and becomes an NCWDA Certified Dancer. Once certified, a dancer may advance through each level by successfully completing the associated Certification Review.
